Hassan considers Amir his very best friend and would do anything for him, Amir too was aware of this and knew Hassan wouldn't deny him anything if he really asked. However Amir himself wasn't clear as to what their relationship was and himself said “ the curious thing was I never thought of Hassan and me as friends either”.
