Analysis Of A Patient Complaint
I have received a patient complaint today while I was over at Digestive Health. MRN: 214785
Pt is an Eric Johnson patient, he underwent surgery on 11/12
He states that after his last office visit with Catherine Holder, on 11/25. She removed his staples that were closing his surgical site. Pt was than sent home with his after visit instuructions and to call the office if he had any additional problems. Pt than stated that he called the nurse triage line on 11/27 due to his insision opening and bleeding. He followed the RN advice and went to Allenmore hospital for evaluaiton of the surgical site.
Pt states that he is upset with the fact tha the had to go into the hospital to have steri strips placed on the site when that should have been done
