Incidentally, passage 2 mentions the indirect ways that people can take freedom without knowing they are.
In passsage 2, a guy named Sergei had to leave his family and move to an isolated place called Jaffa so that "Sergei can get his sleep, and get up when it's still dark. He can take his little boat out into the sea and fish until he's done fishing." He had to move away so he can make his own choices and not have others making his decisions. He moved so people "don't come around knocking... hard like that-rapping at his door." People should be allowed to sleep peacefullly without others constantly disturbing
them. Given these points, no one wants their rights, freed, and choices to be infringed from them, nor do they want any other individual to make their decisions for them. Passage 1 and 2 disclose the different ways people have their rights taken from them, and also why they feel that way.
