Kripalu Balika Intermediate College (KBIC) was established in 1978 in Kunda, in Pratapgarh district. It was established with the purpose of imparting education to the girls in the area as there were no other schools for girls in the neighbourhood at that time.
The college is recognised and affiliated with Madhyamik Shiksha Parishat, Uttar Pradesh. The school follows the course and curriculum set by Madhyamik Shiksha Parishat to ensure quality and disciplined education.
KBIC has approximately 700 students.

The School has an elegant reception hall, a prayer room, a well-equipped library, computer laboratory, a big spacious sports field, a lush green lawn, a basketball and a volleyball court. Furthermore, it has separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Home Science. Furthermore the school provides its students with a state of the art auditorium for, seminars, educational audio visuals and indoor functions and events.
KBIC has its own books and uniform shop within its premises for the convenience of its students. It also has its own canteen that offers healthy and hygienic food keeping in mind that health is wealth.
Additionally, KBIC has a well-equipped indoor recreation hall where the students can enjoy the game of table tennis and other various indoor games.
Fire extinguishers have been installed throughout the campus for the safety of students.
KBIC OfficeKripalu Balika Intermediate College has a fully automated and well equipped office manned by trained staff, this keeps the school administration going smoothly and efficiently. Its reception area is spacious and aesthetically designed.

Mission
To revolutionise the education system, so that the young girls are imparted ‘Education for Life’ living in an environment where a girl’s education is neglected. The mission of imparting ‘Education for Life’ encompasses not only knowledge but also enhancement of talents and life skills necessary for the holistic development of a child.
Further more to guide and enlighten parents about positive parenting so as to enable them to actively participate in their child’s development which is very necessary at the grass root level for the child’s wholesome benefit.
Teachers play the most important role in a child’s life; they are looked upon as role models and have a long lasting influence in student’s lives. Therefore constant steps are taken to elevate the status and widen the horizons of teachers by equipping them with knowledge, expertise and skills required to transform them into leaders in education which in turn benefits the children.
