In my personal experience, millennials are contagious to baby boomers. Millennials are a source of change within the organization in several ways. Engagement with millennial workers who spend more time with their family and friends, and have diverse personal interests outside the workplace, cause more senior workers to reconsider their own values (Myers, K. K., & Sadaghiani, 2010).
Although Marion Saltzman seems to be a smart woman, and it seems, as the saying goes “if you can’t beat them, join them, that this would be the ideal thing to do; you must question yourself, is the work ethic improved or devalued if the workplace is conformed to fit the millennials.
