Hilary is the most reliable narrator out of the two in his story, “The Final Assault.” This is because as he told the story from his point of view. Hilary had come up with notable points but Norgay could make some as well. Even though Tenzing Norgay made some good points, he had a lot of bad ones.

Some of Hilary’s points really stuck out to where you knew that he was a trustworthy man. Hilary was able to show exemplary team work skills even when it was from his point of view. “Tenzing was always willing to do his share.” Hilary said this to show that he isn’t as harsh as Norgay claims he is. It also shows that he’s willing to share the victory with Tenzing. This statement disproves Tenzing’s problem with Hillary by showing that he is a very trustworthy man.
