Even though the tuba was not known as a solo instrument for another century, the bass tuba in F was created by Wilhelm Friedrich Wieprecht and Johann Gottfried Moritz (1777–1840) in September 1835. It was decided that a big bass instrument was required, to produce low harmonics in the brass family. Since then it has been used as a bass part to support and accompany other instruments; both string and woodwind sections in the orchestra, also in the wind band in European region to replace the ophicleide, an ancient instrument which was popularity used in the orchestra during that time. In 1954, the English composer, Ralph Vaughan Williams wrote the “Concerto for Bass tuba” dedicate to the London Symphony Orchestra to perform for the London Symphony Orchestra Jubilee Concert on 13th June 1954 premiered by Philip Catelinet, the principal tuba of London Symphony orchestra that time. Soon later, in 1955, a German composer Paul Hindemith also wrote his “Sonata for tuba and piano” included in his instrumental Sonata series which become a popular Solo tuba repertoire since it written. These two composers are the most effective composer that to make a tuba out standing in the world of western music character. The variety range of Dynamic, an unaccompanied music for tuba in the 20th and 21st century usually has a wider level of Dynamic rather than in the past.
