Lauren Singer discusses her experience in living a environmental friendly lifestyle in her Ted Talk “Why I Live a Zero Waste Life”. She describes a zero-waste life as one where she only buys produce from farmers markets, makes her own health and beauty products, and buys all her clothing second hand. Singer continuously makes eye contact throughout her discussion. There is never a point in the selected portion of the food where she looks at the ground or to the side. Furthermore, it is observed that she shifts her gaze towards different regions of the audience. It can also be observed that Singer manifests different facial expressions including smiling, frowning, and appearing puzzled in order to indicate to the audience how they should react to what she has stated.
