Analysis Of Wicc A Nature-Based Loving Religion
It is wrong to believe that certain races of people or religious groups are wicked, evil, or inferior because people start to see the people they are classifying or stereotyping as not human. It’s wrong because people are supposed to have rights the definition of rights is “a right that is believed to belong justifiably to every person”. When people are classified as something that is all people see like for example if they are Wiccan, they see them as evil devil worshippers when in reality Wicca is a nature based loving religion. The classifying of Wiccans as evil witches by Christians is what led to the Salem Witch Trials in Massachusetts. So many people died because of that classification not only women but men and children too the people
believed it was right because once the classification was put on those people they were no longer human they were monsters. Back in those times everybody was prejudiced against everything they did not understand, they did not even want to understand which was the problem they denied it before knowing anything about it. A more present problem would be the LGBTQIA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersexual, Asexual, Ally). People believe that everyone in the LGBTQIA should not have rights because of God's word in the bible in Leviticus 18:22 God identifies homosexual sex as an abomination, a detestable sin. Romans 1:26-27 declares homosexual desires and actions to be shameful, unnatural, lustful, and indecent. First Corinthians 6:9 states that homosexuals are unrighteous and will not inherit the kingdom of God. So people who believe in God who are against homosexuals do not realize that homosexuality happens in over 450 species in the world that God supposedly made so they are against something they do not understand, again they refuse to understand. If people keep refusing to understand things that are going on in the world events like the Holocaust, The Salem Witch Trials, and Slavery are gonna keep happening.
