In Erikson's stages of life which portraits the basic virtues that is divided into specific age group can be depicted in early childhood such as elementary and junior years. In the novel “child by children” by Akira Saso, the main character Haruna an elementary school student became pregnant and her classmate supported her through the whole ordeal. During Haruna's pregnancy the only person that was aware of Haruna being pregnant was her grandmother while Haruna's parent though their daughter was just going through a phase. Which shows how Haruna's parents are unwilling to speak about sex, obliviant to Haruna's possible pregnancy after Haruna told her parents that she was pregnant which they took as a joke. …show more content…
