He was kind-hearted that day when it was raining really hard and he left his house with some runners to give to the running boy/Mullet Fingers. Even though it was pouring cats and dogs he still tried to look for him Also, those shoes were his and he didn’t have to give them to Mullet Fingers because after all they were his own shoes.
He was fearless when he was on the bus that day and it was Dana’s first day back after the nose punching incident. Every single kid in Roy’s school is really scared of Dana, but Roy has enough courage to stand up to him. He told Dana that he was “dumber than a bucket of mud” without any fear. Also, he kept on telling Dana to “hit me” which is quite brave of him considering Roy used to be really terrified of Dana.
He had an intellectual curiosity when Beatrice was asking him to give her the ground beef and he wouldn’t give it to her right away until she would tell him what it was for. He kept saying that I’m not going to give it to you because I don’t want to harm those dogs. He was curious about what the meat was for and had to find out the reason before actually giving her the meat.

She is strong because that day when Dana trapped Roy in the utility closet and attempted to kill him, Beatrice came there and carried Dana out of the room. He was probably quite heavy and scary to carry, but she managed to pull him out of the closet. Then she also stripped Dana to his underpants and tied him to the flagpole in front of the administration building. She was able to do this without fear and that made her fearless. If I was her I really highly doubt that I’d be able to do that especially to a scary bully.
She is good at lying because that day when they went to Roy’s house to get some stuff for her stepbrother, Roy’s mother believed everything she said. Roy is really terrible at
