In ancient greece people wrote traditional stories to explain the early history of people, or explain some natural or social phenomenon, and typically involves supernatural gifts, beings, or events. These stories are called myths, there are two types of myths, the creation myths and the explanatory myths. The creation myth talks about how nature or people came to be. The explanatory myths explains the existence and death. Greeks passed these stories from generation to generation. Each story or myth had a lesson to teach, they included values like hospitality, family, respect, courage, and strength.
