One example is that Ancient Rome influenced creating checks and balances to help the government. The structure of the Roman Republic influenced the writers of the US Constitution to have checks and balances. Those checks and balances made sure that no section of the government had more power than the others. This shows that the US saw how great the checks and balances worked with Ancient Rome and wanted to be as successful as them. Another example is, Ancient Rome influenced modern US to create an Article I in their Constitution. In the Roman Republic, the Senators created a main part of the government. The US was influenced by Rome and was sparked to add Article I to their Constitution. Lastly, The Roman Empire and Byzantine Empire had basic rights in their laws which carried to the USA and other countries. The Colosseum sparked sports stadium to have many seats so that about thousands or more people were able to sit in the stadium to watch the games and to be entertained. The last example is The Colosseum had an awning that was used for many reasons. However, modern America doesn’t really use it for a sports stadium, but for other reasons too.
