Animal Cruelty Persuasive Speech

We live on this earth unaware of all the evil here, we are blind too all the greed and hate in the world, we choose to be ignorant and blind because who wants to see pain and suffering and not be brave enough to use our voices. Walking around the mall you pass by a cute little bulldog puppy lying there playing playing with a toy, you see this cute little dog and just die of love and cuteness, we don't think twice before we go in too look at all the cute little puppies they have for sale. Little do we as ignorant people the cute little puppies in the window are products of cruelty and greed. What many do not know, is that the puppies that we see in the windows of the pet stores may have came from breeders who have hundreds of dogs in a small cramped place with cages stacked up on top of each other for space, these cages are most likely wire cages and have no support for the dogs to stand on. Commercial breeders profit from cruelty, these criminals of animality have no concern for the lives of the dogs. At as young at 8 weeks old, puppies are taken from their mother and their littermates and put into separate cages waiting to be sold off. This causes the puppies to suffer from fear, anxiety, and other behavior problems. Not only do they have behavioral problems, they may also suffer from physical deformities and health problems. Puppy mill industries house dogs in “overcrowded and unsanitary conditions, without adequate veterinary care, food, water, or socialization” (puppy mills, ASPCA). Puppy mill puppies are more than likely always unhealthy and “ prone to congenital and hereditary conditions” like heart disease and blood and respiratory disorders.
