To operationalize anti-oppressive practice, worker needs to avoid the styles of communication and language that stigmatize clients or increase the dynamism of power relationship over service user. Worker should not make any decisions for service users rather invite them to be involved in every decision, by paying attention on their strengths and individuality. Empower service users and community to change socially constructed identities, also explore structural barriers to seek full and complete participation in the process. Further, worker should avoid use of titles, status, and educational qualifications while presenting self and other practitioners.     The assignment is intended to discuss a case I worked on whilst on my final placement and use an analytic stance to discuss the interaction and interventions used with the service user. In order to maintain confidentiality and anonymity of the service users in this case study I will be using pseudonyms for all people involved and mentioned in relation to this case. The assignment will demonstrate professional judgement, accountability of a social worker and the statutory requirements of protection and intervention when working with vulnerable adults.
