Anti-Semitism And The Holocaust

The Holocaust was a time that murdered six million Jews by the Nazi. The holocaust is a word that was used to describe the genocide. The genocide was due to Adolf Hitler felt that this would eliminate the Jews since he believed that the Germans were racially superior. During this time the German also believed that the Jews were inferior along with gypsies, Russians, homosexuals and many others. They felt as though that these people were inferior and should be killed. Longerich argues that anti-Semitism was not a mere by-product of the Nazis' political mobilization or an attempt to deflect the attention of the masses, but that anti-Jewish policy was a central tenet of the Nazi movement's attempts to implement, disseminate, and secure National
Socialist rule - and one which crucially shaped Nazi policy decisions, from their earliest days in power through to the invasion of the Soviet Union and the Final Solution (Longrich, 2010).
In ethics of remembrance, the history should not be hidden from the society since all experiences provides an opportunity to the society to learn from their mistakes (Nguyen, 2013).
As people decide to pass down stories it is important that we are truthful in the stories because this is now a part of history. History is passed down through storytelling and it is important to know what our history looks like so that we can shape our future. In lots of history the issues are sometimes hard to grasp and to understand but there is importance in what has led us to this point. The Holocaust is definitely one of those segments in history that needs to be remembered in the way that it actually was. In cinema we have the opportunity to see the things that our ancestors have gone through many centuries ago. The message must be conveyed in a truthful manner so that we can respect it in a way that we are able to understand. As we continue to learn about history it may make us upset because we don’t understand the rationale behind the actions. Adolf Hitler believed that the Jews were inferior and for that they were murdered. Although this is a tragedy and it is very hurtful to hear and read about it did in fact
occur.
Hitler’s decision for the genocide shows that he believes that all human beings are not created equally. The Holocaust can be used as an example of how people were negatively treated because of their race, sexual orientation or religion. To be some one that is ethical and fair you should treat everyone the same and no race is better than another. Hitler’s decision for the genocide was completely unethical and the Germans are not superior to any other race. There were so many lives lost during this time.
I believe that the Holocaust can be represented in a way to honor the victims by teaching everyone about the hardships and struggles that all involved went through. These people paved the way for us to see what discrimination looks like with one of the worst faces. Racial discrimination can be tied to the Holocaust and we should see that and not want anyone to ever experience the things that those families endured years ago. Although, the Holocaust brings so much sadness and pain when learning, however, it makes us aware of what we don’t want to go back to. As history continues to grow each and every day, it is important for us to remember the hardships of the people who struggled during these terrible times.
Our memory serves a source for us to remember our past as well as being respectful by paying homage to all the lives lost during such a horrific era. . Memory of activities is powerful and for holocaust is sad story that today can be used to show the evils of racial discrimination, cold blood murder and the importance of living together as one community in love and harmony (Nguyen, 2013). An event such as the Holocaust we must remember when passing stories down that having ethical remembrance is vital. This means separating what really happened and a biased opinion of what we believed happened. We must not give information those sides with one more than the other. Having a forgiving mind is important because at that time these events were presumed to be politically correct. Let our hearts and minds not form a hatred for a group of people because of the
history.
