Looking at the data from PAST, it is clearly evident that the paleo-community of the fossil assemblage was fairly dominated by the single Mulinia indet., species with a dominance number of 0.455. The closer this number was to one, the more dominated the community was, (Hammer etal. 2005). Also, when looking at the evenness data from PAST a number of 0.343 was shown, indicating that the community was more dominated than even because the closer this number was to one the more even the community was. The pie chart in Figure 4 shows the taxonomic composition of the fossil assemblage. This is important because it shows percentages of the individuals found in the entire assemblage and shows how much of what genus and species dominated the paleo-community. 65.0% of the fossil assemblage community was dominated by Mulinia indet., Figure 4. The only species that came close to that was Nucluana indet. with…
In To Build a Fire, an anonymous dog and man go through the Yukon’s dangerous climate. The main character is a man that doesn't pay much attention to the temperature, or how these factors will affect him. On the other hand the dog plays a vital part of the story, because the dog later questions the man's movements, due to his instincts.…

In this assignment, the issue we will deal with is interpersonal conflict within the workplace. We will be required to take on the role of the human resource manager in order to resolve conflict. Moreover, three of the most critical problem statements will be formulated and looked at in depth. Every phase is of underlining importance, as each phase builds on the other. A problem that is ill defined will cause havoc in the resolving process. In the first phase three problem statements must be formulated. Once the critical problems have been identified, then these need to be translated into problem statements. The problem statements should serve as a statement, thereby eliminating any personal value judgments or bias towards the main people involved. Once the three problem statements have been formulated, the next phase to follow is applying Cox & Blake’s six features theory into the context. The six features of Cox & Blake’s theory concern, is how to manage cultural diversity and how it can provide a competitive advantage. The six features are concerned with the changes and adaptations that managers must seek within their firm if it is to be truly a multicultural organization from integrating workers to establishing a flexible model for managing this diversity. The next phase to follow would be to apply the right type of human resource management activities that would help towards conflict resolution. The final outcome should be three action plans. In this final phase a solid plan of attack should be formulated along with each of these three action plans. The idea is that we…
In relation to richness in different life forms, Earth consists of about, or more than, 1.5 million different types of life forms. This proves the hypothesis of, “How present day forms of life arose from other forms of life over a considerable amount of time. As a result, biodiversity has increased throughout Earth’s history.” Another evidentiary fact is the “Lab22DiversityInTheFossilRecordData.xlsx,” which explains, and demonstrates different organisms that were discovered, and were given an estimated time they were living. A family by the name of “Tachyglossidae,” has been logged in the fossil record as supposedly living from seven million years ago, and last seen 100 years ago, were it had credibly been assumed as extinct.…
The reconstruction was successful in abolishing slavery and giving them the rights to protect them for instance the right to vote, speak, own property, make contracts, and have access to courts as parties and witnesses. Also there was the freedmen’s bureau which helped the ones in need from being homeless and completely poor. This bill gave the bureau added responsibilities of supervising special courts to resolve disputes involving freed people and establishing school. The bureau provided emergency food, clothing and medical to war refugees.…
Women in early America referred to childbirth as “the greatest of earthly miseries.” They faced childbirth not with joy but with fear of their lives. Through advances of medicines and knowledge of proper sanitation throughout the centuries, childbirth became safer for mothers and infants. It is now possible to enjoy the childbearing process.…

One of the popular open source Linux-based operating system is Fedora. It is designed as a secure, general purpose operating system. The Fedora operating system is developed on a six-month release cycle, under the auspices of the Fedora Project. Fedora is sponsored by Red Hat. It is also designed to be safe and is used by companies and governments. Its flexibility makes it capable of serving as a digital repository for a variety of use cases. Fedora’s objective is not only to lead the advancement of free and open source software and content as a collaborative community, but also to be on the leading edge of such technologies. Fedora developers prefer to make upstream changes instead of applying fixes specifically for Fedora—this ensures that their updates are available to all Linux distributions. To ensure that Fedora’s updates are available to all Linux distributions its developers prefer to make upstream changes instead of applying fixes. Compared to more mainstream non-Linux operating systems, Fedora has a short life cycle. Fedora is focused on security. One of its security features is Security-Enhanced Linux, a Linux feature that implements a variety of security policies, including mandatory access controls, through the use of Linux Security Modules (LSM) in the Linux kernel. Fedora is one of the distributions leading the way with SELinux.…
Re: Strategic Analysis of the Cuban Cigar Industry With the potential for significant political reform and absolution of the U.S trade embargo, it is critical to determine the probability and effects of these changes on the Cuban cigar industry. After reviewing these scenarios and two possible entrance strategies; creation of a joint venture and investment in an existing firm; it was determined that entering the Cuban cigar industry is not favorable at this time. After analyzing industry forces it is clear that entrance into Cuba is unlikely (see Appendix A). The industry exhibits high barriers to entry due to government restrictions. Foreign land ownership is not permitted, which makes entrance into the industry as a supplier impossible. Moreover, even if ownership laws are relaxed, government control over production is driving low supplier power, making it an unenviable position within the value chain. The other sections of the value chain, export distribution…
