GROUP PRESENTATION ASSIGNMENT APC 100

Part A – Preparation (10%)- final copies must be handed in the day of the presentation)

Presentation Outline Use speech outline sample p. 459 as your template 30pts Team Assignments Provide summary of team members roles and tasks 20pts
Identify what roles each of the team members played in the planning process.
See pgs. 344 – 346 of text (task roles, social roles and dysfunctional roles) 50pts

Part B – Delivery (5% - will be completed the day of the presentation)

Your peers will provide you with evaluations based on the following:
Organization and preparedness 10pts
Participation of all team members during presentation 10pts
Clarity of message:
Verbal message clear and understandable 10pts
Non-verbal (includes use of presentation aids, i.e. video/audio) 10pts
Creativity and engagement with audience 10pts

50pts

Part C – Process Evaluation (10%)- due no later than 1 week after the presentation

This is a reflection of your planning process 50pts

Each member should write your own summary based on your own experience and perspective with the group. Use Chapter 10 as a guideline, see p. 373 for stages 1 – 6.
Follow Up: Reflect on and summarize stages 1-5 with respect to how the group completed/achieved each stage and what you contributed to the process.
What were some of the obstacles or issues that created problems and how did you deal with them?
What have you learned and how will you approach group work in the future?
How did you feel about your part of the presentation?

Format: Part A & B cover page (name, instructor, section, due date) type written, 12 pt font use of proper spelling, grammar and complete sentences required stapled Participation in all aspects of the group presentation planning, and delivery, is required by all members.

Marks will be deducted for absences during the planning and presentation process.
