Chapter 1: Overview of Apple Inc
1.1 History of Apple Inc: Apple Computer Inc was founded on 1 April 1976 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne. They sold the Apple 1 personal computer. Ronald Wayne was quit from Apple on January 3 1977 and sold his remaining share to Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. Multi-millionaire Mike Markkula supplied the business expenditure of $250,000 during the incorporation of Apple.
In January 3 1977, Apple Inc launched Apple 2 personal computer and it was different compared to its major competitors, the TRS-80 and Commodore PET as it came with character cell based color graphics and opened architecture. Within few years, Apple has developed a unique reputation and image in the customer electronics field.
