There were 5 photographs taken by Elsie Wright and Frances Griffiths (cousins). Elsie decided to take her father’s quarter plate camera and when her father developed the plates there were pictures of fairies. Elsie’s mother Polly was convinced that the fairies were authentic. Summer of 1919 the matter had become public. In the early 1980’s the girls admitted that the first 4 photos were fake but both of the girls claimed the 5th photo was real and they said that all the way until their death. www.telegraph.co.uk There is a video on this website explaining about a man who captured pictures of fairies. Hyatt age 53 captured photos of what he claims to be fairies in Rossendale Valley. But as i looked into this story more i read that John knows his pictures aren’t of real fairies but they sure do look like them. Entomologist Erica Mclaughlin says that they are most likely a small species of a fly known as a “midge”. Also it describes where fairies live such as underground, in hills, mounds of rock, etc. It also explains how to make a fairy come to you or how to go look for them. afaeryhunt.com So the real question is are fairies real? It is still unknown but my personal preference is no.
