What is the purpose of Area 51? Is there some type of government cover up involved or is it simply a military base? There have been several theories of how area 51 got its name. The most common is that the facility borders the Nevada Test Site (NTS), where the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) test nuclear bombs. The NTS is a grid of squares on the map numbered from one to thirty that border area 15, which many believe that the Area 51 got its name by reversing the one and five of its neighbor. Others say the number 51 was chosen because it was unlikely the NTS will use this number in the future. Other names of the base include: Paradise Ranch, The Ranch, Watertown Strip, The Box, Red Square, The Farm, Groom Lake, Dreamland, Air Force Flight Test
Some believe that an alien spacecraft in 1947 crashed in Roswell, New Mexico and the government shipped the wreckage and the bodies to the base for examination and study. In addition, they also believe that the government saved alien survivors from inside the crashed UFO. The aliens were taken to Area 51 and were compelled to work with scientists and engineers to reverse -engineer the technology of the alien aircraft. Others go further and claim the facility has underground levels, some assume 40 levels, and tunnels connecting it to other secret bases, and the base contains warehouses full of alien technology and living aliens. The Air Force have publicly denied that aliens have nothing to do with the Area 51 but it got conspiracy theorists to wilder suggestions. According to Bill Uhouse, a man in 70’s, a whistleblower who said he worked in Area 51 from 1966 to 1979 as a mechanical engineer with a grey alien known as “J-Rod.” He claimed that him and the alien worked together to build a flight stimulator for the training of Air Force pilots “who would fly advanced USAF stealth reconnaissance craft developed through reverse engineering studies of alien UFOs.” Bob Lazar, a physicist, also claimed he had worked in Area 51 on an alien air craft. In my opinion, Area 51 is just a military base where the United States creates and tests its weapons and system for the security of the U.S. They only keep it highly classified because if information gets out, other countries will try to build and become stronger. At the end of the day, it comes down to world domination. All of these conspiracies can be just a cover up of other stories. A Shadowy organization (or a group of organizations) “dedicated to bringing about the New World Order.” The UFOs and the reverse engineering stories can all just be tactics the government uses to complicate and distract the public from the governments real goal, world domination. It covers up stories the government doesn’t want the public to know. In addition, Area 51 is a well-known secret facility that has ever been created. There are even many films, television shows, video games and music that use Area 51 as a setting or has something to do with the facility. For example, the television show “American Dad” where the father, Stan works with the CIA and is able to bring back home a talking fish and an alien known as Roger. The conspiracies revolve around us but some don’t realize it. However, the conspiracies can be true because since there is a lot of media concerning Area 51 such as Futurama, The Simpsons, Kim Possible, etc., it might be a way to get us ready for the truth
