Argumentative Essay: Is College Worth It Or Not?
Some people may be concerned if college is worth it or not. College is for those that actually want to learn and it is not to be taken lightly. It is the final preparation before you go to the outside world, so it may seem scary to some people because of the social situations and debt. However, it prepares you for the rest of your life. College gives students more than just educational knowledge, it teaches the students about life and a lot about themselves but there’s a huge debt behind all of this.
Choosing the work path instead of college could be an easier and faster way to earn money. But how difficult is it to actually find a stable job without some sort of degree? Education helps people do higher skilled work and get jobs with better paying companies or even open their own business. It leads to more success, however it makes it more difficult for a person to receive a job that only has a high school diploma.

In source A it was mentioned, “If the goal is to earn a living, then, maybe it isn’t really true that 18-year-olds need to be imparted with a sense of panic about getting into college.” If this were the case, we would have to go to college and stress for many years of the large debt we may have to owe. However, “The habits of mind developed in a liberal arts context often result in combinations of focus and flexibility.” (Source B). You learn and apply to to different aspects in your life whether it’s work related or a personal issue. “And beyond money, education, seems to make people happier and healthier.” (Source D). People are happier and healthier because they were taught to problem solve, to think out of the box and not be so absent
