LGBT Rights Do people have a specific type of willingness in their hearts to accept equal rights on all aspects? Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) rights are a hot button topic in todays society. Many individuals have strong opinions rooted in moral and religious beliefs. A Florist Caught Between Faith and Discrimination by Warren Richey is more of a convincing article which also perceives a negative point of view and Trump’s ‘LGBT Citizens’ is still a very good article, only a bit less convincing, but shows the more positive side. After looking at the research and reading through the personal stories such as Barronelle Strutzman being put at stake with a loyal customer because of her strong religious beliefs. The goal of A Florist Caught Between Faith and Discrimination by Warren Richey is about how an older lady almost lost a loyal customer and a dear friend. This article is just filled with things the government can’t figure out what to do. Not all Congress is against same-sex marriage, but President Donald Trump is, in a neutral stand point. “And Trump himself has sounded an encouragingly different note in discussing issues of importance to gay, lesbian, and transgender Americans…” (“Trumps “LGBTQ”). With this article showing the sense of ethos, it is showing authority. This is seen by President Trump and what he is doing about this hot button topic. As a result, Equal rights are a strong topic in this society today. People can be whoever they feel is right, and who they truly believe they are. A Florist Caught Between Faith and Discrimination by Warren Richey is the more convincing article and Trump’s ‘LGBT Citizens’ is still a very good article, but bit less convincing. After studying this research, Warren Richey did a spectacular job with making the issue
