Argumentative Essay On Pennsylvania
One state that should be taken into some serious consideration when it comes to film and television production is Pennsylvania. The incentives this state has to often be more than enough for production companies to take a look into. Pennsylvania has an abundance of locations to offer, rural, suburban, snow, beaches/ocean, mountains, lakes/rivers, forests, and city. As part of Pennsylvania’s incentive program, they do not have a sunset date, meaning that legislation does not vote on whether or not to keep the incentive program in its state. This is already a bonus for production companies to take into major consideration and not have to worry if they can keep or even stay in the state. The incentive from Pennsylvania is that they have a 25%-30% …show more content…

A small parking lot in the front of the school, with two lamp light at the entrance. Sections of grass wrapped around in cement walls and different size of green bushes. To make sure that Detroit does not fall prey to the same evils which caused its dilapidation decades ago, they need to learn from their various mistakes. The biggest of these was to rely far too much on the car industry, which turned into its Achilles heel when Ford Motors, among other corporations, left the city. Diversification is the key here to financial prosperity, as Detroit needs to ensure that when one industry perhaps fails in the city, there are many others to continue to back up the city financially. This was exactly the problem with the city before; they did not have a backup plan for when demand for automobiles lessened.…

Every school child learns at an early age of the Louisiana Purchase. They learn simply of Thomas Jeffersons great real estate deal that more than doubled the size of the young United States. What they do not learn, however, is of the intense debate in congress, which nearly put the brakes on Jeffersons plan; or of the underhanded financial deals the Jefferson made while congress bickered in order to come up with the funding for the purchase; or of the decisions Jefferson made that seemingly compromised some of his strongest beliefs. It is these details that tell the real story of the Louisiana Purchase.…

Welcome to Newport, my section of the amusement park! My first attraction is a roller coaster called “Roger Williams’ Roller Coaster”. Everyone has the freedom to ride, no matter how tall or short you are! (But I recommend you to be forty-eight inches tall or higher, because if you aren't, it’s pretty unsafe). This relates to Rhode Island’s history because Rhode Island had freedom of religion instead of in this case, the freedom to be any height to ride, and Roger Williams, who founded Rhode Island, made so there was freedom of religion.…

Do you remember how in Spongbob his friend was a penny? If we don’t have the penny then Spongbob will no longer have a friend. The United States should continue the production of the penny. The reason that we should continue the production of pennies is because the citizens of the United States do not deserve more change than is needed. It will be a lot easier just to keep the penny because then we don’t have to tell everyone to change. Also the penny is a big part of our history.…

As the Englishmen of future Jamestown set sail, they never stopped to think about how over half of the population of the new world would die within the first few month, as stated on www.jarofquotes.com, “Despair gives courage to a coward.”. A little bit of background info might be good, so here it is. The date is the spring of 1607, as well, the places are, Chesapeake Bay, the James River, and Jamestown itself. And finally, out of the background info, before they came, the English had many fights with the Spanish. But they had good hopes for the new world. There are many interesting facts about Jamestown, a few of which are that in all the time they were in Jamestown, there was only one execution. One other interesting fact is that they didn't know how to spell words, so they made up spellings. In early Jamestown, colonists died because of three main reasons, Starvation, Murder, and Water Problems.…

    Virginia Persuasive Essay

We, the delegates of Virginia believe and agree that the number of members of Congress should be proportional to population. We believe this because it is most beneficial for the population to be proportional because a huge state like Virginia should not have the same number of representatives of congress as a smaller state like Delaware or Georgia. The reason why we have such a large population is because we have such a large slave population. Slaves are the people who work in our fields and this act boosts our economy, bringing more people to our state. If the representation was distributed equally among states, then smaller states like Delaware, would have the same number of representatives as a huge state like us. That would not allow a…

Have you ever skipped on the offer of picking up a penny off the floor? Well you made a great choice. For the past couple years there has been a huge debate over the ban of pennies. Some people feel as if the penny is useless to our currency, but some others felt that the penny plays a huge role in the U.S today. The argument today is whether the ban of pennies is going to boost our economy or plummet it. The penny should be eliminated because of the cost, worth, and rounding system. The penny to me has never been a huge contributor or factor. The ban of pennies wouldn't affect me as much as it does now.…

Terrorism has taken part of all of our lives. At least once a week, some type of terrorism has happened or tried. President Obama discussed how he took cautious views on fighting terrorism and Isis. Mr. Obama is reluctant to having more Americans die fighting at war with terrorism. Although, it's also understandable to just want to end the war completely. This is the Republicans argument. Republicans would just like to send troops to fight the war in the Middle-East ending once and for all. In order to the long awaited war, it takes more resources, like machinery, weapons, money, and troops. Republicans also feel the situation we're in now, it's vital to demolish any chance of Iran having nuclear weapons for protection of America and the rest…
