Skateboarding. A sport that only requires a board and four wheels. A
sport that tests you to push you to the limit, and do the unthinkable. It seems
pretty simple, doesn't it? Well, all I can say is, practice makes perfect.
Skateboarding can push you to go farther than you probably ever
thought you could go before. I know that, because it happened to me. I never
thought I was going to ever be good at skating. But during the summer, I
started a routine of getting up at 10a.m, tossing my skateboard in my
backpack and skating down to the skatepark, sometimes even until 6p.m.
Even though I never thought I would be good at it, I pushed myself as far as I
could to do the best I could. And even
today, my friends wish they were as
good as I!
Now put yourself in my position. Have you ever thought you would
never be able to be a good skateboarder? Ever think that you might even be
better than most of your friends? Well, anybody can! All you have to do is
push yourself to do the best you can, and practice, practice, practice.
Anybody can be the best if they try.
Skaters push themselves to extreme limits. Defying gravity, stretching
the laws of physics and putting themselves through much physical pain and
exhaustion all in a day's work. Everyone takes a turn trying different moves
and cheering one another on. Skateboarding is a sport with no pressure to do
better than anyone else, there are no winners or losers.
Skateboarding. A sport that requires a board and four wheels. Sounds
pretty simple right? Well, the only way to find out is to try, and practice as
hard as you can.
