Argumentative Essay: Should Kids Doing Homework?
There are many arguments in the world, but a major one is whether or not kids should be enforced to do homework. Everyone has their point of view but evidence clearly supports that they should. Kids should have to do homework because it tells teachers what they need to reteach, it provides practice for kids that are not understanding the lesson that the teacher is teaching, and finally helps kids learn about more in the long run.

One reason Homework would be beneficial for kids would be that it teaches teachers what they did well and what they may need to review with the kids. when a teacher goes over homework they can see what they need to re teach, “looking through homework I can see that I need to reteach how to multiply fractions”(is homework

There is evidence to support this side because of all the stress. Looking on multiple sites and found that kids that have too much homework have no time for themselves. Without that time for themselves they don't usually finish their homework till late at night. Since that happens to some kids they start to fail their classes because most aren't even able to stay up all night to do their homework. So they begin to fail their classes, this becomes an issue because then school work starts to suffer. (Homework can be harmful). This quote shows how stress is a factor and how homework is harmful. Although this supports why homework is bad there is really a lot more information on why homework is harmful.

In conclusion we can see that Homework is helpful because it helps show teachers what they need to reteach, enforces practice, and can help kids in the long run. These reasons emphasize why homework is helpful. Homework can make a big difference in a child’s life and shape their minds of what they know for the future, so it is important to make kids do

There are many factors that account for the changes to the vegetation over time within ecosystems in the British Isles, such as human activity, climate, soil, light availability and intensity and natural disasters. The characteristics of the vegetation that are influenced by these factors are height, distribution, variety of species, adaptations and density of the vegetation. Some of these factors have relatively little influence on the succession development, whereas others have a dramatic influence over a long period of time, such as human activity. These factors, over time, result in the progression of a succession until the climatic climax vegetation is reached. However, sometimes these factors can mean that a plagioclimax is reached, as they prevent the succession from progressing any further and the climatic climax vegetation is never achieved, which in the UK are Oak, Hawthorne and Birch trees. This succession results in the development of an ecosystem. An ecosystem is a dynamic, stable environment which is composed of interacting and functioning biotic and abiotic components and can be of any size. There can be composed of variety of successions, such as lithoseres in grassland and woodland areas for example the Isle of Aaron, psamoseres along the coastline or small scale urban successions in urbanised areas.…

Moreover, homework isn't only wasting the student's time but the teachers time as well. By marking and grading homework, teachers are wasting their time. So teachers, please don't blame us the we wasted your time. Some people assume that homework is useful for teachers to watch student's progress but I firmly believe that homework is sent home to test the parents, not the children. I think that teachers can watch the student's progress in school better because teachers don't know that at home who did the homework, the parent, the student or the internet (Google)??????? People also think that homework helps parents to understand that the school holds high goals for students. But, I consider that school work is harder than homework and that means that parents can understand that the school holds higher goals than they think. Furthermore, homework becomes terrible if no one can help you. If no one can help you then you are doing work that you don’t understand, and if you don’t understand it what’s the point having the work that you can’t even do. I really, strongly believe that more kids would stay in school and have a better learning experience if they did not have the stress of homework.…

First of all, when parents help with homework, kids benefit academically. Parents shouldn’t give their kid the answer, but they can help them by correcting them when they’re wrong and explaining what they should do to solve the problem. Another way parents can help without giving the answer away is by quizzing them on a vocabulary or math test that’s coming up. They can also help kids find a good, quiet place to do homework so that they’re not…

But does homework have any sort of impact, negative or positive for students ages four through eight? “For elementary students, no amount of homework -large or small- affects achievement (Cooper 88). This means that children are often given homework assignments that have no value at all. On average my son receives 6-8 different types of homework sheets. I’ve mentioned before, homework makes my son uncomfortable. Looking at the homework closely I concluded that four of the sheets had minimum correlation to what the study plan was in school. No wonder my 1st grade child is confused and nervous when it comes to homework hour. It is obvious to me that children at a younger age are not capable of completing homework because they simply don’t understand. Keep in mind that not all homes are created equal and not all parents have the luxury to help their child in detail when they get stuck with their home assignments, obviously all children come from different backgrounds and it would only be fair if homework was looked at a little closer in a equally matter for all young…
