That creates the dilemma of whether or not we should go to college or go straight into the workforce. One of the most influential factors with this is the idea of cost. According to the College Board, the average annual cost for someone to go to a private university is $31,231, and for someone to go to a public college in-state is averaged at $9,139. (College) That is a lot of money, and for most of us you would be spending that much money for at least four years. Granted, there are scholarships and other forms of ways to not have to have that burden of student debt on your back, but that overwhelming factor will always be one to put into
