Many people question the Bible and don’t trust it, but they refuse to look at the clear facts. I will be proving why the Bible is true based on the resurrection. My first point that proves that the Bible is true is all of the eyewitness accounts. Over 500 people saw Jesus after he had risen from the dead. The question is: What would cause these people to “lie” about such an astounding fact with nothing at stake to scare them into lying? If anything, they should have been scared of the government which would have caused them to say they didn’t catch a glimpse of Jesus. My second point is that the disciples willing to die for the fact that they saw Jesus. People wouldn’t just die for a lie. Many people have tried to disprove the resurrection by saying that all the people that saw him were hallucinating. This theory can be quickly shot down in light of all the hundreds of people that witnessed His presence after His resurrection. They couldn’t all be hallucinating. It doesn’t become clear how so many people (many of which witnessed Him at once) could all be hallucinating the same exact thought at once. Hallucinations are quite rare in an average person which would synthesize it to be quite coincidental that everyone “hallucinated” the same
