Ladies and gentlements. First of all I would like to thank the principal of Christian Senior High School 1 Salatiga, teachers, friends, organizers, and those who have given me the opportunity and confidence to participate in this competition. The main topics which I will present here is "HONESTY" the latter being crowded discussed by many people in this country. Actually, I was very shy and did not feel worthy to talk about honesty, but I was called from my conscience to speak and to figh it for the good of this nation in the future.
Exciting discussion on the subject of "Honesty" made me too curious and wondering, "Actually, what's wrong with honesty? Is there something wrong in the life of this nation? The result of my personal observation lead me to stated that now honesty aready almost extinct, increasingly rare, and almost disappeared from the young generation, families, community members, and citizens. Apparently this valuable property has been well cared less so just be useless junk, and lost in the civilization wind that blows quickly.
Now dishonesty or falsehood appear as a substitute for honesty. Last year the interfaith leaders speak out about the dangers of both old and new lie. The learned scholar engaged in polemics about the big lie, lie due to negligence, and deceit for not keeping promises. Lay persons in my village were very fond of joking their own version about white and black lies. All diskurs in that public space convinced me that lie really has become a systemic crime, meaning that not only human like to lie, but also a system created by the human himself. The whole area of our lives have been possessed by a variety of lies. Unfortunately, this evil has been accepted as a new truth.
