Argumentative Vs Informative Essay

Argumentative and Informative writing are two different kinds of writings entirely. In an informative essay your job is to explain. In a argumentative essay, you must give many reasons for believing or doing something, and at the end if the reader does not agree then you did not do what you were supposed to do. In the paragraphs that follow i will describe each one in more detail.

In an informative essays you inform the reader about a particuler topic. In this type of essay, you cant express your own view on the topic. Informative essays are essay where the purpose is to explain, describe or define the authors subject to the reader. Informative essays are used for facts to explain a topic/issue/ and or question.Each informational essay will include a thesis statement. It is the job of the author to explain the thesis to the reader in body paragraphs.

Argumentative speeches are different Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was one of the best argumentative speecher's of the 20th century. he argued that all men are created equal. Argumentative essays are essays in which the author uses facts to convince the reader of his/her view regarding the issue Argumentative essays use facts and opinions.

Over the coarse of the last 6 months, ms Arenas has been assigning essays and most of my scored have been good. I have been getting grades like 85/86. In the beginning i got grades like 67/65 but now it is better. Most of the strongest parts were with the spelling of words and the grammer I had used. In the next time I right an essay i will use better works.

Overall, there are many differences between informative and argumentative writing. Argumentative writing must have facts and opinion in it. While informative must have only facts. Hopefully now you know hat the difference is between them
