Arguments Against Evolutionism
Evolution versus creation is a widely debated topic all across the world. However, to fully choose a side a person must comprehend their own view and what the other side is trying to communicate. Therefore, figuring out each views basis for evidence allows a person to strengthen their own view, while also getting a better understanding of their opponents view. In the end, creationism is the superior view point, which will be proven through scriptural, scientific, and philosophical explanations.
In order to argue against evolution or defend creation a person must truly know they key components of their beliefs. In order to truly be in oppositions of evolution one must be aware of the principle, scientific, and philosophical arguments of evolution.

As a result of this explosion, the stars, galaxies, and planets were all created (Marsh, 2016). This can simply be explained through a set of rules and equations, as according to evolutionist everything can be explained through math. There are many scientific explanations that help support the evolution. For example, many evolutionist use fossil records to support evolution, as they stress the fact that the simplest fossils can be seen within the oldest rocks. This demonstrates evolution as throughout time animals evolved and their complexity advanced, so this is implying that the early animals that can be seen in the fossils demonstrate a time during evolution. Scientific evidence that evolutionist use do defend their belief is their insistence that we along with dogs, snakes, fish, monkeys, and so many more share similar embryo traits. Therefore, the only reason people all share similar embryo traits is because they all share a common ancestor from which they had descended. Furthermore, according to evolutionist we also have genetic commonalities with various animals, which doesn’t prove the evolution from monkeys to humans, but it does showcase that humans did have common ancestors with these animals at one point in time. Lastly, another scientific explanation …show more content…
Ultimately, this means that God is a causeless beginning, which further demonstrates that based on scripture God had to be the source of creation as he is the only one who has existed forever (Marsh). There are a variety of different views on creation and how the world came to be; however, according to the Bible there are a wide spectrum of verses that demonstrate God’s divinity. Furthermore, since there are numerous verses demonstrating God’s divinity we can confirm the fact that God did have the ability to create the earth on his own. In the Old Testament there are many verses that depict God’s divine nature within creation. Some traditional verses that are typically used to demonstrate God’s divinity in creation are Genesis 1:1-2 and Genesis 1:27. Since the very beginning there has been something, that something being God. He spoke the heavens and earth into existence and filled the void, as he was the causeless beginning that the rest of the world stemmed from. Also, in the New Testament there are a variety of scriptural references that demonstrate that God’s divinity is an essential tool to divine creation. Another example of God’s divinity that we get to witness occurs in Mark 19:6, which features the Pharisees attempting to test God about the morality of divorce. It’s is not the Pharisees questions that demonstrate divine creation,

The concept of God as Creator is explained by the writers of the bible in various ways. In Genesis chapter one, God creates things ex-nihilo, by simply stating them to exist; when it says that “God says” something it then comes into being. Another example is when God says “let there be light”, which shows He is the spontaneous designer of all creation. The Judaeo-Christian thought of God as creator is that God created the entire universe and is the sole cause of everything’s existence and everything’s purpose. The Apostle’s Creed refers to God as the “father almighty, creator of heaven and earth”, which shows they believe that God is the first cause and creator of all things. This relates to Genesis chapter two when God is spoken of using anthropomorphic terms such as saying he is “walking in the garden”, which implies His immanence to His creation rather than suggesting God is merely a human being.…

Intelligent design supporters have several opinions about evolution and their own theory. The opinions that are most commonly understood are the ones put forth by Thomas More Law and the Discovery Institute during the Dover trial. This trial focused on why intelligent design should be taught in classrooms. Evolution in the context of the trial and as declared by Charles Darwin is best described as the slow gradual genetic change of a population over time. The major underlying argument for intelligent design supporters is that the features of all organisms are too complex to have been simply caused by evolution (Koch). Since these features are too complex, supporters believe that there must have been a designer. They agree with evolution in some instances however. For example,…

We will first start with the theory of evolution. Charles Robert Darwin, was born on the 12th of February 1809, and is the founder of evolutionary theory. He initially planned to follow a medical career, and studied medicine, but later switched to divinity. In 1831, he joined a five year scientific expedition on the survey ship, HMS beagle. While on the ship, Darwin read Lyell’s ‘Principles of Geology’ which suggested that the fossils found in rocks were actually evidence of animals that had lived many thousands or millions of years ago. But, Lyell’s argument was instated and reinforced in Darwin’s own mind when the ship reached the Galapagos Island. Here he observed the rich variety of animal life and this is where the inspiration for his theory came. Darwin noticed that each island supported its own form of finch; they were closely related between islands but had key differences. On Darwin’s return, he…

The theory of evolution says that the existence of homologous structures adapted to different purposes as the result of descent with modification from a common ancestor. There is a lot of evidence for the theory of evolution. Some might be fossil record, embryology, comparative anatomy, molecular biology, and biography. Darwin was one of the first people to try to figure out what evolution is. He did a lot of research and experiments to find out if evolution is real or not. He even went on a voyage to find more evidence to prove that evolution is real.…

In all different parts of the Bible, such as passages from Genesis, Job and Psalms, God is seen as the creator. Despite the fact that it is portrayed different in these passages God is always seen as the sole omnipotent, omniscient creator, this is seen as a fact and is never questioned. According to Christian traditions God created the whole universe and caused everything to exist and he will always be the sole person responsible for everything that will ever exist in the Universe. This has created the Creationists belief that matter, forms of life, and the world were created by God out of nothing. Biblical creationists believe that the story told in Genesis of God’s six-day creation of the universe and all living things is literally correct.…

Though some states do teach both and very few teach how evolution is wrong, the majority of public school students in the US are taught evolution. Creation is a belief and evolution is a scientific theory. Different published works will say contrasting things about this controversy and how well, scientifically speaking the two sides stack against each other. Neither creation nor evolution can be proven using the scientific method because they can’t be tested. All that is left to do is take the evidence left by both sides and compare them to how well they fit into the science and history of the…

Evolution is a theory created by Charles Darwin, it is part scientific theory and part unconfirmed hypothesis. Darwin’s theory of evolution can be broken down into two parts: the theory of microevolution and the theory of macroevolution. “Microevolution is the theory that natural selection can, overtime, take and organism and transform it into a more specialized species of that organism.” Macroevolution is the hypothesis that processes similar to those at work in microevolution can, over eons of time, transform an organism into a completely different kind of organism.” (Wile and Durnell 268).…

In conclusion, to why i believe in the questionable theory of evolution is because of the chemical and anatomical similarities of related life forms. Which concludes that organisms evolved from a common ancestor. Also the unused structures called vestigial structures. Which seem to have no purpose at all and the organism can function properly without it. In the end those are the reason why I believe in the very complex theory of evolution.…

The Bible decrees that God was the intelligence that brought all that is into existence. This idea is reflected in church history as seen the writings of the “Fourth Lateran Council (1215)”, which surmised that creation by God was, “ex nihlo (i.e. ‘from nothing’)” (Bird, 2013, p. 158). This God, as…
