Other healthy benefits associated with the use of natural oils and aromatherapy oils include healing of wounds, hormone regulation, congestion decrease, relieving of menstrual related pains and cramps, inflammation reduction and improved digestion. The majority of natural oils and aromatherapy oils work through smell. The body (once exposed to odor) inhales it and the odor travels up the olfactory nerves to the brain, especially on the part that controls our learning ability, memory and mood. When the area is stimulated it releases numerous feel good chemicals thus enhancing the body's ability to relax while stimulating mood enhancement.
