Arthur's Journey Call To Action
Arthur’s Journey, call to action, and Main Task: Arthur Dent goes on a long physical journey through the galaxy with his companions Ford Prefect, Zaphod Beeblebrox, Trillian, and Marvin. Arthur’s call to action came from his friend Ford Prefect. Ford Prefect knows that the Earth will be destroyed and tells Arthur to come with him to a bar. There Ford reveals that he is actually an alien from a far away planet. And before the planet is destroyed, Ford takes Arthur to safety by hitching themselves to a spaceship. There Ford convinces Arthur to stay with him in space and become a galactic “hitchhiker”. As one can see, Ford influenced Arthur to start his journey of survival in space by saving Arthur’s life and taking Arthur along with him. Arthur’s main task becomes for him to travel to the planet Magrathea and find out what happened to the Earth and to find out the secrets of the Earth that no human before him knew about.

Pictures: The Picture of Space represents Arthur’s journey because it shows that Arthur must travel through space. The Picture of the key unlocking the lock represents Arthur’s Main Task which is to “unlock” the hidden secrets of the Earth.

Finally, Arthur has recovered from the destruction of Earth and has made his new home in the Heart of Gold with his new

    2. Arthur was able to escape all the time because he was a skilled thief that was easily able to break or open locked doors and was most likely able to be very quiet on his toes. His masters and employers seemed to treat him fairly, they would be nice to him when he did what he was supposed to do and NOT do “bad” things. The times that Arthur did drink alchohol and rape women, his masters seemed to be very angry with him and often either sold him to another person, or sent him to prison. When Arthur went back to see his parents, they very much expected him to go back to town, turn himself in and then serve his sentence instead of escaping all the time.…

Although both Sir Thomas Malory in "Sir Launcelot du Lake" and John Steinbeck in "Acts of King Arthur and His Noble Knights" characterize Sir Launcelot as a mad lover, Malory uses tone to characterize Launcelot as trustworthy, while Steinbeck uses imagery to characterize him as unloyal. In both stories, Sir Launcelot were madly in love with King Arthur's wife, Queen Gwynevere throughout the stories. In Steinbeck's story, Launcelot is constantly drooling over Gwynevere and even ends up having a sexual encounter with her. “Their mouths met, and each devoured each other.”…

In the infant stages of his acting career, Arthur is virgin. Optimistic and determined, citing the city as the feeling of freedom, he is everything of youth. But thirty years later Arthur is bitter, tired, and wary of the very same public eye that thrust him into fame. All that he loves (the stage, his three ex-wives, his son) he abandons. He is equal parts unreliable and insincere. Thus it seems fitting that in his final moments…

Great job once again on answering the question about how muscle action relates to the movement. I think maybe I took it to the extreme, I went on about agonist, synergist, and antagonist muscles. I wasn 't sure if I should add the levers too. It appears as though you explained every type of muscle movement and gave an example of each. I went into flexion at the elbow and discussed that the agonist is the main muscle mover, the antagonist does the opposite, and the synergist is the helper. However, if you think about it, we kind of still came up with the same answer. You discussed flexion and extension and how they are opposites. That is what I wrote except I said that the agonist, or the main muscle, is used for flexion, while the antagonist is used for extension. You noted that these were opposites and so did I.…
