In Prussia, patriotism and nationalism can be considered as an important factor.There was also uncertainty among the Prussians about their future in Europe.This resulted in Prussia' s massive resentment of the French domination ,and resultantly a rebellion against Napoleon began to grow.Prussia appointed French -like reformers ,in order to strengthen their state in the event of an attack. Furthermore, key military reforms were introduced in order to strengthen Prussia and defend her from threats of external aggression.There was massive recruitment and professional training of personel.This enabled Prussia to have a strong standing army.Prussia also opened the second front to Europe.This had the effect of stretching Napoleon.The net effect of the reforms that by Prussia was to make her a useful ally in the fight and defeat of Napoleon.
