Dq 1- What are the general tasks and responsibilities of the case manager throughout the helping process? Why are they important?
A case manager has various general tasks and responsibilities throughout the helping process. "The helping process is a fundamental way that professionals reach out to those in need and provide the support and structure necessary to influence their potential to develop and grow in positive ways" (McClam, T. & Woodside, M. , 2012)(p.1, para.1). The general tasks and responsibilities of the case manager throughout the helping process includes; making contact with the client, identifying the problem(s) the client is having, gather and assess the information about the client and the problem, develop a complete picture
