Athlete Warehouse Case Study
Introduction
In this case, study, I would like to discuss the three strengths and three Weaknesses that I can identify based on SWOT analysis pertaining to Athlete’s warehouse are the economic market. The inventory they already possess, as well as the knowledge the brothers have about the products. The strength, which would be giving the credit to that, the brothers have already established with suppliers.
Strengths1 - Colin had an established credit rating with some of their suppliers. Both brothers had experience running this type of store, and they both had expertise in the goods themselves. They can effectively help customers decide what they want. Customers that are new to sporting gear could ²nd any good advice to be helpful, and after Finding that the brothers recommended the right gear, these people are likely to become repeat customers.
What is the Weaknesses
1 - Lack of starting funds.
With a shortage of starting capital, it can be difficult to even get the business on the ground. Ed and Colin might be unable to stock goods from these cash-on-delivery-based suppliers until their business has already made sufficient profits, but some customers may prefer goods from these brands and might not shop at stores such as Athlete's Warehouse that do not have them.
2 - The organization does have a diversity range of sports products. However, the income of the business is still heavily dependent upon its share of footwear market. This may leave it vulnerable if for any reason its market share erodes.
3 - The retail sector is very price sensitive. Does have its own retailer, However, most of its income is derived from selling into retailers; retailers tend to offer a very similar experience to the customer. So it has does not able to expand the business ideas to the next
