Cell phone use while driving is a part of a distraction and it could possibly lead to having a car accident. Banning the use of cell phones such as texting, and talking has already been banned in some areas. However, if you get caught texting in some areas you will get a ticket. Cell phones these days can be very dangerous, and even deadly as statics has stated. Driving a vehicle and texting distracts the driver and that leads to the driver not having concentration on the road. It takes your eyes of the road to where you’re being distracted and that can lead to you looking up and won’t have time to react without hitting the driver in front of you. Having your cell phone ring and it falls to the floor while driving allows you to lose focus and there is not visual eye contact on the road. Serving the internet, and emailing someone can cause you to go in and out of traffic and can make you decrease, and even increase your speed since your attention is fully into your conversation.
The use of having a cell phone while driving can increase many automobile accidents if one would think of the pros and cons of having a cell phone and be more responsible and think more of their life’s as well as others and pull over to accept a call, text, or even an email.
