To begin, the ad has two young boys around the ages of ten standing in a gymnasium. One child is holding a ball and the other has an assault rifle. There is a statement in white font that says, “One child is holding something that’s been banned in America to protect them. Guess which one?” Also, at the bottom of the picture there is fine print that states, “We ban the game dodgeball because it’s viewed as being too violent. Why not assault weapons?” Immediately, the viewer has feelings about the child holding such a powerful and deadly weapon.
