Banquo Monologue
Hello everyone and thank you for making time and coming today. Banquo was a very good person he would be fair with everyone and do no wrong. He was a good father, friend, and thane. Banquo was a very very close friend mine, basically my best-friend. We've been through a whole lot together. And i know that he is very glad to see you all gathered up here for him today. I asked Fleance if i could say something in order to say my good bye's to Banquo.

Unfortunately I didn't know Banquo when we were infants, but later on in life we met and made good memories together. We then started working for king Macbeth (who may rest in peace as well). My dearest wife,Lady Macbeth, knew Banquo as much as i did and we have no idea on why they killed Banquo

    “To be thus is nothing, but to be safety thus – our fears in Banquo stick deep.” Macbeth does not say in his soliloquy why he fears Banquo; because Banquo heard the witches’ prophecy and probably suspected Macbeth of the murder of King Duncan. Macbeth feels that Banquo is naturally superior to him, and being near Banquo makes him feel ashamed.
