Abstract Baroque art is presented as an art style. Baroque art style is such diversity within in the Baroque period 1600-1770 because of the relationship to the era’s border and intellectual tendencies there was three important effects on the art. Which are, western Christianity, religious tensions, and the division of the Roman Catholicism and Protestantism. The Baroque artist appealed to their viewer in a dramatic way because there were two powerful forces competing with each other in the 17 century.
Baroque artistic style was between the years 1600 thru the year1770, they highly expressed their motion in their creativity art work. Baroque art is characterized by great drama, rich color, intense light and dark shadow.
Baroque Art and Period Baroque period of artistic style started 1600-1770 in Rome, Italy, and it spread throughout Europe. Baroque word is describing something highly detailed. The artist in that time period used renaissance technique to move art in the direction of drama, emotion, and splendor. The Counter-Reformation promoted the Baroque art and spawn. (Frank 2011). The Baroque religious art places new emphasis on personal and mystical types of faith.Michalango Mersisi da Caravaggio’s was so down to earth that he was an influence on other Baroque painter. The painting The Conversion of Saint Paul, Caravaggio used light to imply a blinding symbolizing the evangelist’s sudden and soul- shattering conversion(Frank 2011). The figure of Paul, when you look close up it was like you was right there. In fine art the term baroque is derived from (Portuguese barocco; meaning irregular pearl and stone).
