Batman Is A Hero
Who is a hero? “A hero can be anyone even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a little boy’s shoulder to let him know the world hadn’t ended,”(Nolan, C., 2012). A hero may come in many forms. To some it may be a sibling, a friend, or even a character. In my opinion, Batman – also known as Bruce Wayne ¬– is the most heroic figure in the 21st century. Batman saved the city of Gotham from social destruction. He shaped his life in a way that made him a hero; he possessed the characteristics and thoughts to lead his success. The effects of Batman are seen everywhere and by people of all ages. He taught us how to be good in a world so bad.
Bruce Wayne was born into a family of billionaire’s and never had to financially struggle with things most people struggle with. Growing up in a poor city was tough for him, and being on the streets had become a dangerous place. His parents had always expressed love towards their city, as it is their home, and always wanted to help to make it better. One evening on the way home from a movie, his parents were killed by a robber.

With this motivation, he decided on how he will help them and learned how to fight. By doing this, he is selfless, courageous and perseverant. He is considered to be selfless because what he does with his life is to help the people of Gotham. He is willing to put his life in danger and fight which makes him courageous. Though he endured many struggles, he continued to fight because he knew that if that was what it would take to save Gotham, then that is what he would do. He had a dream to help his city and he did. One advantageous characteristic he possesses is the ability to fight due to the training he acquired. He also has to devote his own time, money and a lot of effort, which is more than an average person would do. This makes him different, better and definitely a
