Being An American Essay
The word American can be defined in many forms. In the United States, the word refers to someone or something that comes for the country. The word American has the strongest meaning in the United States, since it describes the nation. In some countries, Americans are people who are from the Western Hemisphere. There are many opinions on how to use the word “American”.
In the United States, American has a strong meaning. Americans is just not one race, but a mix of races. Being American is more than being a legalized citizen, but rather, making a better society. Many come to the country for the “American Dream”, which refers the ideals of liberty and equality. Americans pursue happiness and personal comfort in this country. United States is one of the countries that give opportunities to what they call “Americans”. The country is composed of different ethnic groups, which makes it the “Land of Free”. Many treat each other equal no matter people’s race, background, and culture. Americans have many opportunities, such as education. They can choose to be whoever they want to be. America is composed of freedom and equality.

Anti-Americans are people who are against people or government. They refer to Americans as racists, selfish, controlling and etc. Many do not agree on how the military works, since they are causing more wars. They think people have never been treated equally throughout history. They are not content on how the government manages situations.
