With this in mind, it has a very uplifting message and that is no matter what happens in your life, do not let it discourage you or lead you away from who you are and what you love. Also with personality, Patch believed that medicine alone could not always help, so instead of treating the illness, you need to treat the patient, and with the use of laughter he treated the persons soul as well as their ailments.…

The discovery of self identity is more often than not a long and painful process that never really ends, it only progresses, but it resides as a testimony to personal growth that everyone must endure. When my sister died in my freshman year of high school I was forced to confront my own individuality and identity without an older sister by my side to guide me as I was used to.. For the first time since I was born I lived in a house as if I were an only child, just my parents and I. It really is a strange thing, having someone there one moment to discuss the prospects of heaven, hell, books, Narnia, and the current crush, then suddenly be left to find your own answers. I was left crushed and heartbroken, and felt part of me had died, too, but perhaps that feeling of nothingness paved the way for me to find out who I truly am, a journey everyone has to undergo at some point.…

Psychological egoism, as a doctrine, refers to the notion and ideology that people tend to act and behave in ways that are purposed to fulfill their needs and wishes (Fiester, 2012). Generally, this point of view endeavors to highlight that most, if not all, human actions are actuated by rather self-motivated desires that are not easily noticeable. As such, it is unequivocal to expound that the proponents of psychological egoism do not advocate or advance for the fact that some of the events engaged or undertaken by some members of the community may be focused to assist and aid the other vulnerable associates of the concerned society. I agree the view of James Rachels that the psychological egoism is not true.…

You might think your quiet classmate who sits in the back of the class is antisocial because he or she prefers working alone and does not socialize a lot. It could be the case that he or she is just an introvert who likes solitude and gets his/her energy from being alone for a while, rather than mingling in crowds. Nowadays our society is full of loud and fast-paced movies, large parties and tasks from school or a job that require enthusiasm and charisma. As a result, at times it seems like extroverts are better suited for this society, seeing that they usually are charismatic and energetic. I intend to prove you wrong though, in my opinion introverts are unbelievably important in this society.…
