Berkshire Night Crisis Case Study

Phillies night Crisis Inpatient rich Mary’s face turned red as she started to complain to the bartender Mike. She was complaining about waiting so long to get her food. Mary Field who was the customer started started to say to Mike “you're so slow hurry up!” Mike ignored Mary and kept on making the other customers' food. In Philadelphia city October 28, 1950 every store and restaurant was closed except for Phillies the bar with food and drinks. It was the only restaurant open that had 24 hour service. Mike had the night shift which was good, but it was all so bad because he had to deal with cranky and impatient people like Mary Field. This situation seemed like it was going to go far because Mary had a lot of money and she can use
her money to sue Mike for being so slow, but this wasn’t the case.

This problem all started at night around 11:30. Mary was yawning and rubbing her bright luscious blue eyes. She started to complain to Mike that she wanted to get her food early so she could have food with her husband Sean Field who was a owner of Ford’s car dealership. Suddenly Mary’s face grew red and her eyes got wider. She started to complain to poor Mike about her food taking so long. Eventually Mike gasped and couldn’t handle how annoying Mary is being so he said to Joe “I’m sorry I have to make this lady’s food and I will resume your food later.” Joe is not very happy about this situation but he understands because he can her Mary complaining to poor Joe. Joe whispers to Mike “ I feel so bad for you.” “You shouldn’t have to deal with people like this, I will do something about this situation.” Mike went back to work and Joe went to talk to Mary.

What will Joe do to this impatient lady?
Joe decides that Mary is so obnoxious and he is tired of her bossing Mike around when Mike is the only one working late at night at Phillies. While Mary is outside yelling at Mike, Joe sneaks outside where there was a phone booth was and called the police on her to see if they can calm her down. Ring! Ring! Ring! The police finally picked up the phone. “What's your Emergency?” asked a male police officer. Joe answered “Well this crazy lady named Mary Field has been yelling at the bartender at Phillies.” “ She is complaining about her food being apparently it is taking so long.” “I want to see if you guys can please help me calm her down I am too scared because if I tried she probably would hurt me.” The police responded “this sounds like a silly situation, but we will help you, be there in a few minutes.” The phone call was over and Joe sat on the little bench outside and waited for the police to arrived. Joe got scared because he heard a door slamming. He looked back at the restaurant and saw Mike with Mary's food. Joe noticed that the police just arrived. The police and Joe were watching what Mary was doing to Mike. She was screaming and yelling at him, but he had the food in his hand. Mary grabbed a fork and got so mad that she threw a fork at Mike and the fork hit Mike's head. Suddenly Mike fell back into the counter ledge in a slow motion movement, drops Mary’s food on the sky blue floor, and fell unconscious.
The 2 police got out of their navy blue car and ran as fast as they could. One police ran like a cheetah into the restaurant to get the bright silver handcuffs around Mary. The other police rushed to Mike with a telephone to his ear saying “help help” into the phone. The Ambulance arrived in less than a minute to get Mike to the hospital.

Gradually Mike opened his big brown eyes after 3 hours and found himself in a white tiny room with a light blue gown on but he was wearing his hat that he has to wear for work.
He suddenly started to throw a fit. His face grew red his arms were shaking like a little kid shaking the maracas. The nurse rushed to room 78 where Mike was having a tantrum. They kept telling him “It's going to be ok, you were unconscious”. But then Mike s face started to turn back to his normal skin tone and his eyes were brown again and not red. He now started to think about where Mary was and what she was going to do about going to jail. . While Mike was thinking about the situation he felt a sharp pinch pain go through his arm, but it just the nurses giving him his medicine for his black and blue
head.

While Mike was in the hospital Mary was in jail thinking about what she has done to Mike. MAry asked the cops if she can have a piece of paper and a pen to write a sorry letter to Mike. They gave her what she needed and she started to write her letter
“Dear Mike,
I am truly very sorry for what damage a have caused and how sorry I am for giving you a hard time about my food and how you were so slow but you really weren’t.” “I want you to understand that I just wasn’t in the right mood yesterday night.” “The reason why
I threw the fork at you was because I was still upset about how we got a divorce 4 years ago.” “ I still loved you but you didn’t love me because I gave you a really hard time.”

Mary now was looked up in shiny silver Medal bars, wearing a black and white jumpsuit which she absolutely hated and was covered in garbage from when she was doing community service. All in all Mary realized that she was wrong for what she has done to her ex husband. All in all In 1950 Mary didn’t make the right choices and she still regrets after 10 years.
