The study revealed the following findings: 1. There wasn’t much significant difference between the two types of schools except that the non-government school principals had the ability to take quick decisions and take into consideration the long-term effects of the decisions that that taken on their schools. 2. Both the categories of principals allowed to take decisions on their own without being influenced by anyone. 3. Non-government school principals were the first to foresee the need for changes and made innovations accordingly. There were better planners and better innovators than the government school principals. They were ahead of the government school principals in developing and defining the goals and objectives of their school. They encourage Coker clear activities and also good at encouraging and appreciating the additional work of the staff members. The focus of the government school principals was more on the academic activities and they showed more interest in improving the academic standards in their institutions. 3. The government school principals or seen as better representatives of their organisations when compared to the principles of the non-government schools. The government school principals are more skilled in handling chaotic situations and in assessing the situation in advance and take appropriate action. 4.
