It is maintained that electronic games negatively affect the mental health of gamers because games reduce players’ contact with the environment around and lead them with tendency to become more aggressive (Nick Tews, 2013). But in practice, video games make people more intelligent, more sociable and even more morally-conscious. Electronic games can connect people without the limitation of time and space, so in this way electronic games are beneficial to improving people’s social ability. Dr. Kathy Sanford (2013) said when children are playing games, they are making ethical decisions all the time. If they do negative choices, they will see the results of each decision. A study conducted by an international team of researchers in Columbia University shows that children who play more video games are found to be 1.88 times more easily to have higher overall academic performance (Doug Bolton, 2016). As video games are fun, they are more easy to be accepted when in educational use. In fact, video games have been applied to educational area for a long time.
