Presently I consider this an asset to my personality because it is an essential part of who I am. My open-mindedness has led me to experience new cultures and places all over the world, without fear of where I will end up next. Subsequently this perspective leads to my personal conception. My belief is that there exists an external force much bigger than us that carries the ability to affect my life, such as fate. However, I believe that ultimately the events in my life are caused by my own personal actions. Therefore, I believe that I have an internal locus of control. The internal locus of control may also reflect on the fact that I have a proactive personality. I became conscious of this trait very recently in my personal life when I started traveling. Due to the experience of detaching from my regular routine, I began to develop a fascination with changing my environment even if it is for a short period of
