to most everyone who can afford it but how precious is it during a crisis? This is where public health officials and community figures will have to effectively communicate a preconceived plan assisting with lodging of people with proper medication, clothing and food.
When trying to resolve this the government will have to stay focused on keeping true to the ethical standards taught to them during less stressful times. As stated by Eckenwiler (2004), “developing ethically defensible decision-making structures among agencies and institutions, it is essential to train each clinician in ethical decision-making in crisis situations so they can effectively treat patients and provide information to colleagues and to the public. This means challenging institutional and professional norms that can marginalize ethics in the curriculum” (para. 12). Pressure packed situations can cause things learned in a controlled environment to evaporate. In most situation's deontology, beneficence and autonomy will always linger because it reminds appointees of the duty, creed, pledge, oath, promise taken when deciding to enter society as a public servant. Upholding civil rights is a huge responsibility as well because justice ethics are supposedly adhered to and never violated. When conditions of this size become coerced or influenced from outside sources it intensifies possibly turning it into a cataclysmic event.
