Blue-tooth is a great emerging technology being used today, which also has potential for much more uses than the tradition bluetooth headset. Bluetooth connects gadgets together, helping users listen to music, talk on phones without having to deal with frustrating cords and wires. To understand how a Bluetooth connection works, I will use an example such as a phone connected to wireless speaker. First, each device is equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, a feature that requires both software and hardware components. On the hardware side, an antenna-equipped chip in both devices sends and receives signals at a specific frequency. The software interprets incoming Bluetooth signals and sends them out in ways other devices can read and understand. In the case of the wireless speaker, the phone will know how to send audio files and information in a format that the speaker understands, while the speaker can interpret these signals–as well as other indicators such as volume and track controls–from the phone.…

It is estimated that Bluetooth wireless speakers alone will generate roughly $430 billion in revenue worldwide in 2014 alone (Cassagnol & Joseph, 2014). Bluetooth Technology Bluetooth technology is also found in computers and computer accessories, like mice and headsets for video games Bluetooth technology is now also found in many places in the medical field, for example in bedside telemetry monitoring equipment that remote transmits a patient’s cardiac rhythm to the monitor room and nurse’s station simultaneously in real time, alerting medical personal immediately of…

Wireless communication has become an important feature for commercial products and a popular research topic within the last ten years. There are now more mobile phone subscriptions than wired-line subscriptions. Lately, one area of commercial interest has been low-cost, low-power, and short-distance wireless communication used for \personal wireless networks." Technology advancements are providing smaller and more cost effective devices for integrating computational processing, wireless communication, and a host of other functionalities. These embedded communications devices will be integrated into applications ranging from homeland security to industry automation and monitoring. They will also enable custom tailored engineering solutions, creating a revolutionary way of disseminating and processing information. With new technologies and devices come new business activities, and the need for employees in these technological areas. Engineers who have knowledge of embedded systems and wireless communications will be in high demand. Unfortunately, there are few adorable environments available for development and classroom use, so students…

Abstract – Wireless sensor networks – networks of small devices equipped with sensors, microprocessor and wireless communication interfaces – are a technology that has gained a lot of interest lately. The broad spectrum of new and interesting applications, ranging from personal health-care to environmental monitoring and military applications, is proposed for such networks. Various wireless technologies, like simple RF, Bluetooth, UWB or infrared might be used for communication between sensors. In this paper the main principles, applications and issues of Bluetooth based wireless sensor networks, as well as an implementation of a simple Bluetooth based sensor network are described. The main problems experienced during the implementation and applied solutions are presented. hardware resources [4], [5], [6], [7] and efficient communication protocols [8], [9], [10], [11], [12], [13], [14], to enable networking and collaboration of smart sensor nodes. In the next section the main principles of wireless sensor networks are given and research issues are explained. Section 3 presents Bluetooth issues related to its use in sensor networks. An implementation of a Bluetooth based sensor network is described in section 4 along with some of the implementation issues and solutions. Section 5 concludes the paper.…

These five gadgets communicate with each other by the use of short-range wireless technology. This technology uses the cellular phone function to set up a connection with the internet . Bluetooth is extensively used because this technology permits to transmit data(like songs, files, photos, phone numbers etc.) or construct connections without wires. This is very effective because we can able to connect at anywhere and at anytime without having wires. They are used at the frequency band of 2.4 GHz ISM (although they use different access mechanisms). Blue tooth mechanism is used for exchanging signal status information between two devices. This techniques have been developed that do not require communication between the two devices (such as Blue tooth’s Adaptive Frequency Hopping), the most efficient and comprehensive solution for the most serious problems can be accomplished by silicon vendors. They can implement information exchange capabilities within the designs of the Bluetooth.…

Sky Mobile is one such technique which provides support for both the user and the service provider for the communication in an easier and efficient way. This paper is an application of low frequency (LF) i.e. BLUE-TOOTH which is commonly used in short networks. We are placing a solution for mobile phones user’s to use their mobiles on Airplanes that will be safe and helpful for both customer and service provider i.e. traveling consumer and mobile companies. This solution enables the user to remain connected in flight; the switch over from the cellular network to the in-flight Bluetooth network does not require any user initiation or change of the mobile handset. Here we make use of Bluetooth Airplane Gateway (BTAG) to detect the mobile phones while boarding and Ground Switching Center (GSH) to record the incoming calls and outgoing calls. Hence the user uses his handset as usual and not affecting the aircraft signals and the communication continues naturally.…
