This book is very well written and organized really well. This book was a little tough for me to follow but this is because my reading skills are not what they should. This book would be a good read for people going into politics or the study of politics; also it would probably be good for people who are trying to get a degree in a religious field. Many people who love history would probably like to read this book. I do not think this book would be such a great idea for younger students because they might not understand it or get quickly board before getting deep into the book. This book also would not be one to just pass time. GOD’S OWN PARTY is better than A consumers republic but not better than The boys of 67. Many evangelist like Billy Graham helped Christianity have a voice in politics, they paved a way so many religions would have a voice in politics but many might not be as powerful as the Christian voice. This book review was a lot tougher than any other ones because it is a religious book. Even though it sets up for this paper so you can state your opinion on a very interesting topic. After reading this book there are a ton of question have come up such as, does the author think that Christianity will ever lose its power and influence in politics and if so where would that power
